Di Marzio: Milan want to close two important operations over the break – the figures

AC Milan are hoping to conclude two important operations before play resumed after the international break, according to a report.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio (via SempreMilan.it), Milan want to start by securing the signing of Divock Origi ahead of the 2022-23 season. A meeting is expected between the Rossoneri management and the entourage of the Liverpool striker, with a four-year deal ready at €3.5m net per season.

The second deal is not a new signing but rather a renewal. Agent Jorge Mendes will meet Lille to resolve the issue relating to the dispute with Sporting CP and the fine that the winger has to pay, or rather how much of it.

Once this obstacle has been overcome, the player will be offered an extension by Milan formally and there is already a verbal agreement over a renewal at €4m net per year. The Rossoneri No.17 wants to remain at Milanello, where he feels well liked by the fans and loves the club.
