Moretto: “Don’t want any more Liberali cases” – Milan closing in on crucial extensions

AC Milan are closing in on an agreement over the renewal of two of their most exciting talents, a journalist has confirmed.

Yesterday, Milan met again with the agents of Francesco Camarda and Christian Comotto. As we reported last night, the talks over a new contract for both players progressed well, and the expectation is that they will both pen a new deal in the coming days.

The intention of the leadership is to avoid another situation like the one involving Mattia Liberali, who left the club for Catanzaro and impressed in Serie B to the extent that he ended up getting himself a move to Como, snubbing a Milan return in the process.

Comotto and Camarda renewals close

Matteo Moretto also confirmed in a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel that Milan are in discussions with Camarda and Comotto’s agents over a new deal. MilanNews relayed what he had to say.

“Francesco Camarda and Christian Comotto are the two most talented and high-profile players at Milan at the moment. Following last week’s contact, there has been further contact between the two players’ agents and AC Milan’s management,” he said.

“There is optimal synergy between the parties, who are negotiating the renewal of both players’ contracts until 2031.

“Milan wants to do everything they can to protect them because they don’t want any more Liberali cases, so the Rossoneri club wants to reach an agreement as soon as possible. A few more steps are still needed, but there is optimism”
