CorSport: Milan to meet with Club Brugge youngster’s entourage next week

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan intend to have a meeting with Charles De Ketelaere’s intermediaries as early as next week to try and agree a deal, a report claims.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), Milan are looking to make some more progress when it comes to signing Club Brugge youngster De Ketelaere.

Representatives from the Rossoneri will meet with intermediaries next week. The Belgian appears to be the player that Milan want to bring more quality and depth to the attacking department.

He is rated by many clubs and is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in European football this summer.

They face competition from Premier League side Leeds United for the player that scored 14 times in the Belgian Jupiler League last season, predominantly playing behind the striker.

He also created seven goals for his teammates as Club Brugge ended the season as the Belgian champions, booking their place in the Champions League.

    1. What do you mean nothing happens? Most clubs scout and talk with the player/agent/club for half a year or a year before they buy.

  1. As early as next week!!! Didn’t the window open already. Truth is. We don’t need many additions and so if we are trying…searching..waiting for the right piece to fall into place then that’s because maldini knows this. He said himself we need a few quality additions and I think cdk could be one. I do believe we will spend the appropriate money this window. Money spent wisely. We already have the winning formula which is team spirit so no need to rip that up and replace with high paying gambles. Patience is a necessity as a Milan fan but I think we’ll be ok come the start should M&S re-sign. That’s how we did it in the late 80s, 90s and 00s. No team overhaul just a winning mentality and a few quality additions. Forza Milan.
