TMW: Milan confident regarding Romagnoli’s renewal – it could be done by Christmas

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are working on securing a number of other renewals after Stefano Pioli penned a contract extension on Friday, a report claims.

According to the latest from Niccolo Ceccarini for TMW, the management are proceeding with confidence and optimism in talks with Romagnoli over the extension of his contract, which is currently set to expire at the end of the season.

Even though a few weeks ago he seemed destined to leave after what will be seven years at the club come next June, the situation has completely changed and an agreement could be found before Christmas. A new meeting is expected soon with his agent Mino Raiola, which could also be a decisive one.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are very close to completing the renewals of Theo Hernandez, Bennacer and Leao too, which shows that the management are very much taking a more proactive approach to armouring their key players.
