AC Milan are once again being linked with a move for Daichi Kamada by sources in Germany, with his deal set to expire in a few days.
Milan were first mentioned as being a serious suitor for Kamada in the 2023 summer transfer window and it seemed that Paolo Maldini had lined up a deal to sign him from Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer.

He did not join and went to Lazio in the end, and his agent shed some light on exactly why the attacking midfielder didn’t end up arriving.
An old flame
According to Sport Bild (via Fußball Transfers), Milan are interested in the 29-year-old again. The Japanese player’s contract with Crystal Palace expires this summer, meaning he will be available on a free transfer.
Kamada joined the South London club from Lazio on a free transfer in the summer of 2024 and has since made 89 competitive appearances for the Eagles, contributing three goals and eight assists.
Under Oliver Glasner’s management, the former Eintracht Frankfurt player also won the FA Cup, the Super Cup, and the UEFA Conference League.
It seemed that Glasner was going to join at Milan as the head coach at one point but in the end Ruben Amorim joined. He does use two attacking midfielders behind the striker, a role Kamada could be ideal for.

AMRC: Kang In-Lee (Trincao) /// Chukwueze (Zaniolo)
AMLC: Pulisic /// Kamada (Nkunku) + 1 (younger) LW
Kamada:
2025/26 0 goals/1 assist in 28 PL-games…
this is because he plaid as a double pivot
*played
As a squad rotation player, why not. Zero risks.
Kamada hhhhhh for milan hhhhh
Would rather use a youth player on rotation. At this point all these names are just speculation. I don’t think we’ll get anyone in until the World Cup is over.
The level of ambition will be evident by the transfer market. The players coming in should be Scalvini, Kayode, Cambiaso, Ake, Tonali, (Issa Doumbia leave at Venezia on loan), Nusa, Ignacio, Ramos, Tresoldi. Done.
Out, Tomori, Pavlovic, estupinian, Fofana, Cheek, salad, Bondo, Musah, Bennacer, Leao, Gimenez.
Promotion, Zeroli, Comotto. Camarda loan.
I doubt we are going to see significant arrivals, unless key players (with high value) are departing. From your list of departures I really doubt any of Tomori, Pavlovic, Fofana, Salad, Gimenez will leave this season. I also suspect we are not going to receive a good offer for Leao and he will stay. I’d keep Camarda as well, at least for the first half of the season and if he doesn’t get enough minutes, I’d look for a winter loan.
I am not worried about our attacking players that much – I attribute the terrible offensive results to Allegri alone.
I’m not against those players mentioned staying. With them in their strongest position, we could challenge for the title. Just one or two additions needed in that case.
I think you’re right about Leao, I can see him staying. But I just wonder if Pulisic would want to stay if Leao does?
Doumbia signed for Sporting Lisbon 3 weeks ago.
A Dearth Vader style “noooooooo”
LOL
Newcastle will ask for more than 100 million euros for Tonali, forget about him for a few more years…
Well apparently they still owe us some money for his transfer and that of Thiaw. So we add a few counterparts and it’s easily attainable. IF they accept counterparts. But you’re right, forget about him. Let’s hope Comotto is given a chance.
I didn’t know that, to be frank. Nothing is ever easy for us, brother, I also think we well get him (back) in his thirties, not before :-((
We will sign him when he is 33 years old.
Buy Tomiyasu, Kim min-jae, Ayase Ueda, Daichi Kamada, Rashford or Greenwood or G.Ramos.
Just to sell more jerseys in Japan? Not a starter-level player.
with reports that Modric is staying the double-pivot role is done. only option would be Rabiot going up front. then maybe one more, but I highly doubt it.
Ricci, Fofana, Rabiot, Modric, Jashari
Pulisic, Nkunku needing 2 more and with Leao’s money it can be done. 2 of Kang-In Lee/Trincao/Brahim Diaz; Trincao would only cost 10-15M more.
the other big focus should be LWB and CB, I would even say go for another CB as a Tomori upgrade. Lucumi and Gila have both contracts until 2027.
10-15M more than what/who(m), Kang-in and Diaz? If he has the same price as Kang-in, we should get the Korean without a doubt, not to mention there should be no dilemma between the two of them
if Trincao is more expensive. Even in case of Kang-in having the higher price, we should still invest in him.
CB, LWB, MC (Modric isn’t so sutaible for 3-4-2-1 or even 3-4-3), AMC/LW and SC, this (these) positions should be are our priorities.
Amorim is playing 4-2-3-1 that’s why he is concerned with attacking midfielders and kamada is a good signing.
He doesn’t play like that, stop fabricating things.
3-4-2-1 or 3-4-3, that’s how Milan will play under Ruben Amorim.
