AC Milan are seemingly moving forward with their sporting director decision, with a meeting scheduled soon between their favoured candidate.
In recent weeks, there has been a little overlooking of Igli Tare, but it seems the club have kept him in a leading spot, and in the next 48 hours, he will meet with Giorgio Furlani to discuss his ideas for the new Milan.
The meeting, reportedly, will be decisive, and this morning’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) states that he is willing to work with the management group as it is. He has already had success in Italy, and knows the road to it.
Furthermore, he is the only candidate to put forward a list of coaches that he would like to work with, giving the club an idea of how he wants to proceed with the rebuild process, and the report states that there is one name that stands out.
That name would happen to be Massimiliano Allegri, who shares a similar history – success. The Italian has won things almost everywhere, and with previous knowledge of the Rossoneri atmosphere, he could be the perfect man to settle things.
Allegri would ‘very willingly’ return to coach the San Siro club, even if those close to him have suggested otherwise.
First, they wrote that if Paratici becomes sports director, then his favorite for coach is Allegri. Today they write that Tare is the favorite for coach Allegri. I’m really sorry for you, because Allegri will not be the coach of Milan 🤣

is Allegri owning part of GdS or does GdS just hate Milan so much that they cant stop trying to force the worst possible option on us?
If this is even slightly true then they shouldn’t even consider tare anymore.

Its fair to wait until the end of the season. I have hope that Conceicao finally find right formation and now is importent to wait until the next match against Atalanta and then against Inter. If he manage to win both games then is on the place to talk about his contract renewal. CL is out, but still we have chance to somehow finish good with trophy from Coppa and on 5th place…
If I could, I would vote for Conceicao to stay and have a proper summer camp to build a proper team out of those guys. We have very decent players, that are not very well managed and it’s not an easy task doing so mid-season, when you are not allowed to risk losing any points to adjust the games too much.
This season was written off the moment Theo decided to simulate for a second yellow. And that much negativity up to this point has it’s impact on the players’ psyche.
If we get another coach, he will need time to get to know the players, decide on who can be let go and who he wants in (with limited budget). The players need to accommodate to a 4th change in tactics/methods in a matter of a calendar year and so on, which means good players are more prone to change the club as they don’t know what to expect next year anyway.
