There were talks of a reset happening at Milan, and it seems that that is happening very literally. The core of the team is being gutted – and arguably then some – and there are several names being linked with replacing them.

Theo, Mike Maignan and Tijjani Reijnders all will not be present next season, it seems, though that list may get even bigger by the end of the mercato. Nevertheless, the club can only focus on the replacements when they are needed.
So, with Theo’s departure seeming imminent, discussions are being ramped up for potential replacements, and it seems Igli Tare has a preference.
According to Corriere della Sera (via Milan News), the sporting director is ‘insisting’ on replacing the Frenchman with Andrea Cambiaso, the Juventus wing-back, who is capable of playing on either side. In fact, the two clubs are in ‘constant contact’ over a move.
Considering reports are also linking Dusan Vlahovic to the Diavolo, it would not be a surprise if these discussions between the clubs continued throughout the summer. When Theo leaves, though, dominoes could begin to fall for his ideal replacement to leave Turin.

I seem to recall a rumor at least about Cambiasso gathering interest from City back then but I might be wrong. I highly doubt we will fork up what Juve would demand unless we throw 35 mil on top of what Juventus will have to pay for Kalulu.

Cambiaso is expensive, I doubt it is a possible transfer unless Juve badly need money and make a steep discount.
This management has never shown ambition to pay what it would cost to bring in this caliber of player. I would prefer Cambiaso even to Theo but come on, in reality this won’t happen. Only if Cambiaso has a strong affection toward Allegri you’ll see this play in red and black.
This is pure fantasy football with RedTurds. But if they somehow do manage to pull off this deal along with Rovella and one of Coppola/Leoni. I’ll give it a rest for a while. At least for a day or two.

Cambiasso would be a fantastic option so long as he stays fit. But I don’t see RedBird/Elliott or whoever is in charge spending that much.
The question is not if Milan would spend the money, but why would Juventus let him go and to a rival.
Miguel Gutierrez from Girona is a good young leftback, ex Real Madrid youth player, and for less than 20 mil, should be affordable under our cheap management. I’d go for him if theo leaves
