AC Milan, today, have made contact with Premier League side Arsenal regarding the signing of a left-back.
With Theo Hernandez looking more and more likely to leave Milan this summer, even shortly, there needs to be action taken for his replacement. Luckily, the Rossoneri do not lack ideas. In fact, there are several on the table.

However, choosing one, and more specifically, an apt one, is difficult. Someone needs to be ready to come in and make an impact, and the Diavolo have, historically, struggled to recruit full-backs under the current management.
Leading option
Of course, that does not mean that a replacement cannot be found. In fact, as Goal reports, there are two options currently tempting Milan: Maxim De Cuyper and Oleksandr Zinchenko, and it is the latter with whom contact has been made.
According to their report, the Rossoneri are preparing for Theo’s departure and have made contact with Arsenal about a potential deal. The Ukrainian would be open to the move, which would cost the Diavolo around €20 million. However, his wage is a potential stumbling block.
Having competed at the top with Manchester City and Arsenal, the defender is no stranger to a title fight. Perhaps, it is a move done for on and off the pitch reasons, bringing another experienced winner to the dressing room.

Neither of these options are good replacements, zinchenko there’s nothing for me to say, I think everyone can agree he is not a player for this team. De cuyper in my opinion isn’t anything special.
Who the is your option Mr Judge?
Spend the extra money and sign De Cuyper.
Zinchenko is a good player but he can’t stay healthy. Arsenal signed one left back (Zinchenko) who can’t stay healthy and then doubled down and signed another (Calafiori) who is even more injury prone.
Get De Cuyper who is better balanced fullback and better defensively.
Poor business by Milan again
Theo was worth at least $50M 1 year ago.
The right thing to do now is sell LEAO and keep theo.
Leao in 1 year time could see his value plummet just like theo
How’s keeping Theo in any scenario a smart thing to do?
You take the 25 mil for him and you run before they realize which Theo they are getting.
Tiago Santos he’s the ideal replacement
A right back is the ideal replacement for a left back?!?!?
This is hilarious. Peak comedy from RedBird.
If that is what you call a replacement, I’d rather to keep Hernandez & let him leave for free next year.
The very hyped Tare- Allegri tandem will lose credibility if they go through with signing Zinchenko.
If he was a free transfer it would be worth the risk but he’s 29 and injury prone.
What’s going on?
Only good option out there is to snatch up Robertson on free transfer and have him for 2 years until Bartesaghi can take over.
good shout
We’ve come a long way from Diego Laxalt
If there’s something RedBird excel at, it’s downgrading. Third summer in a row.
Is Mykolenko really not available for similar money?
Emerson last season, now zichenko, are the scouts doing their job.
There are no contacts between Milan and Arsenal for Zinchenko

An average player. Not what we need. Sign a good player like Cambiaso or Udogie.
If it’s Maldini, I am sure that we will sign De Cuyper.
