CM: Milan continue to track Udinese midfielder but stance on summer move emerges

By Oliver Fisher -

The AC Milan management are admirers of Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic but they face competition to sign him, a report claims.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Samardzic’s future is yet to be written after an impressive second season so far with Udinese to the extent that he is gathering interest from clubs both in Italy and around Europe.

In Serie A Milan are interested in signing the German U21 international just as they were back when he was at Hertha BSC before joining RB Leipzig, while Napoli are also admirers of Samardzic as they begin to plan for life without Piotr Zielinski.

However, the report mentions that the Rossoneri management plan to continue monitoring him but that he is not an objective for the upcoming summer, suggesting he is a player for the future rather than the immediate, however they will get a closer look at him on Saturday and might change their mind.
