Sky: Milan could be without centre-back for Fiorentina game due to fever

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s injury-free status did not last very long as there could well be a second absentee for the trip to Fiorentina, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Sky (via MilanNews), the presence of Matteo Gabbia for the away game in Florence is in doubt as the Rossoneri defender has a fever and at the moment it is not certain whether he will leave with the team tomorrow.

It comes just a couple of hours after Stefano Pioli confirmed that playmaker Brahim Diaz has picked up a knee injury and faces a battle to be fit for the game against Spurs, meaning he will be absent tomorrow.

Rade Krunic and Rafael Leao are missing due to suspension, but prior to the news today it looked as though the treatment room would now be empty and the squad in full health ahead of two very important games. The wait for that continues.

  1. Time for the new signings to shine. Put adli and CDK behind strikers and see how it works. I think the nost important match will be against Tottenham to advance to tje quaterfinals.
