It seems AC Milan’s reset could allow a few starlets to make the jump to the senior team next season with a youthful view.
There have been plenty of impressive youngsters to pass through Milan, but now the project – which had youth in view – may enhance the talent they have in-house. In other words, the Futuro project could be given more value.

Davide Bartesaghi graduated to a first-team role this season; it just took a little belief. However, it has also proved that if you are good enough, you are old enough and the Rossoneri could enforce that view next season.
Starlets to be given chances
As seen below, Gazzetta dello Sport wrote that there are ‘several young talents eager to discover their future’ next season. Indeed, with no management in place, the line has blurred between the teams and they are hoping to leap.
The restart, then, could see a number of changes to the recruitment and usage of young stars and Francesco Camarda’s name has been given the most spotlight. It could see the startlet striker finally given his chance with the Rossoneri.
Though, he would not be alone. In midfield, Kevin Zeroli and Christian Comotto will be reassessed in the summer and both could push to help the Diavolo in Serie A, the Coppa Italia and even in the Europa League. Their additions would help the squad list, if nothing else.
Elsewhere, Lorenzo Torriani could be confirmed as the second-choice goalkeeper, at minimum. Finally, Andrej Kostic is looking to break into the first team, considering he will be part of the senior team’s pre-season. If he impresses, he could break through straight away…
That would not be a totally bad idea,intact it would be a wonderful idea, include Chaka Traore, bring back Musa and Terracianno to the squad..

Ahh here it is. The nostalgia, the dream, the hope for young Italian football. Italy is not producing anything spectacular from the youth programs these days. Spain, France and even England are producing really good quality. I don’t see the level of quality coming out of Italy anymore. Tonali and Balotelli were probably the last players that had folks saying, “here comes a superstar”
You don’t see the quality because they don’t play.
How are you judging anyone you’re not seeing play?
Or you relying on the entirely rational and successful decision making of the people who brought us Füllkrug because Camarda just wasn’t up to scratch?
The people who signed Estupiñán because Bartesaghi just wasn’t “ready”?
It’s bad enough youth players getting scr#wed over by the transfer market, but then people write them off without even seeing them play.
Name one Italian youngster U21 that is capable of playing first team football for Inter, Juve, Napoli or Milan or Roma. AND good enough to be selected in a World Top 11 U21 squad…just 1 player!
Veratti comes to mind as well…but
