AC Milan could turn back to Granit Xhaka if they are unable to unblock the negotiations over Ardon Jashari, a report claims.
Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano stated last night that the Milan directors are irritated by being made to wait 10 days for a response from Club Brugge after their latest offer. Once came this morning from the CEO Bob Madou, and it was not what they wanted to hear.

“We sat down to talk with Milan out of courtesy. And without talking about money. Everyone knows what Ardon has done, but for us this isn’t the end of a cycle,” he said.
“I’m not saying we won’t make exceptions, but at the moment there’s no offer on the table that makes me think we should. We’re assuming he’ll stay. We understand that Ardon may be disappointed, but he knows what we expect from him.”

Milan look to Plan B(s)
TMW report that Milan, based on the information gathered, believe they have put forward a financially adequate proposal and, for this very reason, are unlikely to raise their offer further above €35m plus bonuses.
The path seems to be one of further waiting, with the hope that the Belgian club will eventually give in, especially considering the player’s desire to wear the Rossoneri shirt and the fact he is not in training.
If this were not to be the case, Milan’s management would focus on alternatives to Jashari, and the first names to be considered are Bayer Leverkusen’s Granit Xhaka and Valencia’s Javi Guerra.
The Spaniard is currently meeting with the Spanish club to discuss a contract renewal, starting with a €3m net per year request that is unlikely to be met. Terms had been agreed with Xhaka, meanwhile.

Javi Guerra is a better option than Xhaka. We don’t need another 33yr old player. Javi Guerra has so much room for growth and he’s a better investment.
Bring in Xhaka and the midfield is complete. Jashari made it public that he only wants a move to Milan, and did not join Club Brugge’s pre-season. He has done all he could. Milan is also not at fault for valuing him at 38m, this price is even a bit generous.
Modric, Xhaka….all we need is Busquets to complete the fastest midfield in the world
Yep, bring Pirlo and Seedorf back, maybe even Gattuso so he can coach the NT while playing for us…Why not?
And bring back Kroos from retirement.
Also why not go for Sergio Ramos, he’s an experienced center back that can help our defenses a lot.
And since we’re looking for strikers, might as well try for Ronaldo.
(that aside, I actually don’t min Xhaka)
Why not Ronaldinho too? He can shake Sergio Ramos’ ankles in practice like he used to. All great people with great branding opportunities. They can sell a lot of posters and merchandise. They might take a look at Freddy Adu and Clint Dempsey if the wage demands for the Brazilians are too high. The algorithms suggest they dominate their beach soccer leagues at 5 goals per game on average from their chairs.
Don’t forget Jorginho and Casemiro. This much talent and experience would be invaluable for us.
Two completely different players. What in the hell is the actual plan here?
what’s the problem of Mr Igli Tare? he has got obsession to buy some Albanian player. it doesn’t matter age, the most important that Albanian roots.
.
for me both options Jashari and Granit Xhaka are not the best ideas. there are so many really good players on this position and Mr Tare is fixated on these two. very difficult options and even not worth of their price. it’s wasting of time.
.
time for management to warn Mr Tare to focus on other players and more realistic transactions. I really never expected that Mr Tare would started in so badly style his work for AC Milan. ashame.
True, he can’t seem to see further than his albanian nose. There is no necessity for Xhaka here, as there are plenty of more viable options, which they seem to fail to identify.
