Milan defender says he is ‘focused’ and ‘wants to win another trophy’

AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori has stressed that he is focused on the team right now and is wanting to win another trophy with the Rossoneri.

Speaking during an interview with Milan TV (via Milan News) at the club’s training camp in Dubai, Tomori talked about where he is at mentally right now and how the team is looking ahead to the first game back on January 4.

Tomori has been with the Milan squad the entire team because he was not selected for the England squad by Gareth Southgate despite his superb form for Milan.

“I’m fine, also with the team I have a good relationship. We are excited for the first game, we are working hard and well. I hope that by the 4th of January we will be ready,” Tomori said.

Tomori was a key player when Milan won the Scudetto last season and it seems that he is not content with winning just one trophy with the Diavolo.

“I am focused on this moment, we are in a good period. This year I want to grow and we want to win another trophy. We knew it was difficult, but we will do everything to do it,” he said.

Milan were unsuccessful in their first game of the Dubai Super Cup against Arsenal and they will be looking to rectify that when they take on Liverpool later in the week.
