Watch: Milan defender Hernandez gives France early lead against Morocco

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez put France 1-0 up early in their 2022 Qatar World Cup semi-final against Morocco on Wednesday night.

The French started the game at a superb pace and after just five minutes, it was Hernandez who redeemed himself after a poor display against England by acrobatically scoring at the far post after a deflected shot from Kylian Mbappe.

France will be through to the final if they can beat Morocco, where Argentina will be waiting.

  1. Theo fully deserves it, what a fantastic player. And after all that horrible situation with his wife and children… bravo, Theo!

  2. BTW: why don’t we see a topic here entitled “Theo and Giroud guide France to WC Final – and we’re proud they belong to Milan”? After all, they are as important to the French national team as Alvarez and Fernandez are to Argentina (the main stars of each squad are obviously Mbappé and Messi, but that is beside the point here). Anyway, why always praise players from other teams, highlight missed opportunities, and not exalt our stars and our successes? This kind of thing pisses me off, really.

  3. Nice to see Theo and Giroud in the final, especially Theo.

Now Theo price tag will be really high, maybe more than 150 million considering only a few LB who can create many key pass, goals, and assist. Milan will be swimming in money if they sell him to Madrid, PSG, or EPL clubs.
