It was widely reported that Milan held a summit with their Udinese counterparts at the club headquarters on Wednesday. Rumours immediately swirled about who might have been discussed as targets for the Rossoneri.

Arthur Atta was linked, but he is Fiorentina-bound. The names of Keinan Davis (now close to renewing his contract) and Thomas Kristensen were mentioned by Tuttosport, so there remains an element of mystery.
Sales not signings?
Fabrizio Romano (via MilabVibes) took it upon himself to clarify the specific topics of conversation between the clubs. He claims that Milan players of interest to Udinese and Watford were discussed, with both clubs owned by the Pozzo family.
The exact names are not yet known for certain, but it is obvious that there are some members of the current squad that are not considered a good fit for what Ruben Amorim wants from his 3-4-2-1 system and his style of play.
Whether one of these outgoing negotiations could become linked to a player coming the other way (like Davis, Nicolo Zaniolo, Kristensen or even Oumar Solet) remains to be seen, though for now it seems less likely.
