Romano: Milan join Dortmund and Barcelona in race to sign Ajax defender Mazraoui

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have joined the race to sign Ajax defender Noussair Mazraoui as a free agent at the end of the season, according to a report.

According to Fabrizio Romano of Sky Italia, Milan are in the race together with Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona to sign Noussair Mazraoui as a free agent. Nothing has been agreed between the player and any club with the race ‘still open’ and Mazraoui will take his time to decide what is best for his future.

Mazraoui announced his decision to leave Ajax on a free months ago because he wants to try a new experience in his career, and while the Rossoneri have Davide Calabria, Alessandro Florenzi and Pierre Kalulu for the right-back spot, Florenzi is only on loan and Kalulu has been impressing at centre-back.

Mazraoui is 24 years of age and has been impressive for the Eredivisie club this season with 7 goal contributions (5G, 2A) in 18 league games, and with the Morocco national team too.

  1. Calabria, Florenzi (will be bought), Kalulu & Saelemaekers. I think we’re covered. And Raiola is the icing on the cake: NO THANKS!
