As Corriere della Sera write this morning, it remains a derby of pride. The team must enter the game with their heads held high and think only of this game, and not the table or anything else. In fact, a pact has even been made in the dressing room.
They want to ‘give everything’ in the final 10 games, so if the Nerazzurri collapse, they are not left with regrets about what could’ve been.
Allegri wants his team to play with little to lose, play without pressure and with the mentality that the result is important for the club and fans, regardless of the Scudetto standings. Given their last loss against their biggest rivals came almost two years ago, they want to keep this run going.
