CM: Milan keeping close eye on Empoli attacker who is a Rossoneri fan

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan have been keeping a close eye on Empoli attacker Tommaso Baldanzi who is actually a Rossoneri fan and will be at San Siro on Friday night, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the Empoli player has been enjoying a superb breakthrough season for the Azzurri and is attracting the attention of some big clubs in Serie A.

His best moment this season was grabbing the winner in a 1-0 victory against Inter at San Siro, a moment that is even sweeter with the added context of being a Milan fan all of his life.

He will be in action at San Siro on Friday against the team he supports and he will be desperate to impress the onlookers.

There were Milan scouts watching him play for the Italy U21s against Serbia recently and he has been watched on several occasions by Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara this season.

  1. Milan need to get Baldanzi at all cost. With Diaz and Baldanzi in the squad Milan can use CDK as a false 9 or just sell him to recoup most of the 35m.

We also should consider Parisi for LB.

  2. This can be our Brahim replacement. We can probably get him for 10-12mm vs the 20-25mm it will take to keep Brahim. And he’s Italian and a Milan fan.
