AC Milan have begun discussions with the agent of Robert Lewandowski to see if there is a possibility of signing him.

So, with Santiago Gimenez still not really convincing, there is the likelihood that Milan have simply pushed the striker signing down the line. Who might it be? Quite a bold suggestion has arrived.
Tare begins Lewandowski talks
According to the journalist Luca Cohen, contacts between agent Pini Zahavi and Tare have taken place to discuss the situation of Lewandowski. Milan are trying to understand how things are with Barcelona, amid widespread reports they will not extend his deal, which expires next June.
Cohen adds: “We are talking about information requests. Don’t take big mental leaps for now. It’s necessary to reveal it, like they talked about Modric in May.”
The Pole is without doubt one of the best strikers of his generation. He has 105 goals in 154 games for Barcelona across all competitions, having scored 344 in 375 for Bayern Munich, with 73 assists.
It would not be the first time Milan have turned to a veteran centre-forward to try and fix the issue. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud are recent examples, and with Lewandowski being 37 it would certainly be a win-now move, if it materialises.
They could ask 20m for him.
He is free at the end of the season and also super wealthy. He is valued over 100million in personal wealth. He already rejected joining Saudis for 100 million a year. His preference is one more year at Barcelona though. Last weekend he equaled Neymar goals for Barcelona and needed 30 less games.

He will be the best teacher for Kamarda.
He’s turning 37 this year, and this might be his last shot at a Champions League title. I’d be very surprised if he decides to make the move.

Modric came from one of the top teams in the World. Lewandowski is still the starting striker for Barcelona. We have one of the youngest squads in the league so in this case, one or two old heads will help greatly, especially in Camarda is around to learn from Lewandowski.

He is best to be singned by milan
When we talk about longevity, this guy keeps his body in shape to a level that probably Cristiano wouldn’t. Wouldn’t be surprised if 42-3 becomes a normal retirement age for the new generation of players and some will probably push beyond that.
Lewa will be a great addition to any team. And to the comment above about Milan becoming a retirement club for legends – it’s been like that for a long time, but one such legend plays 90+ mins each week and is always in top 3 players on the field.

The problem is that Vlahovic never became a good striker and is a very expensive sub. Lewandowski at 37 matched Neymar’s scorning record at Barcelona and needed 30 less games to do that. He prefers one more year at Barcelona though.

Lewandowski would be great to add to the squad. A proven goal scorer to add to the front line. One or two seasons may be worth it if a good deal can be made.
Certain people said 3 years older Modric was “too old” and “too slow”. I’m sure they’ll continue with the same mantras with him. 😀 😀 😀
