Journalist claims Milan have enquired about signing Roma winger Zaniolo

AC Milan have made an enquiry about Roma forward Nicolo Zaniolo but are not the only club interested, a journalist has claimed.

According to Salvatore Cantone on Twitter, Milan made an enquiry about Zaniolo as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of the 2022-23 season, but the asking price of Roma is very high.

Things could change in the coming weeks though as per the journalist and further developments may well come, but there are lots of other clubs who are keen on the Italy international.

Sky (via MilanNews) reported last month that the future of Zaniolo is still to be deciphered and that Roma have not ruled out the idea of a permanent sale of the 22-year-old, with Milan and Juventus keen as well as Spurs.

His contract runs until 2024 and he has 4 goals and 8 assists in 33 appearances so far in the current campaign across all competitions, and is trying to reach his best form again after recovering from a second cruciate ligament injury.
