CM: Milan enquire about 22-year-old defender through agent as Spurs set €25m price tag

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan reached out to the agents of Spurs defender Japhet Tanganga over the possibility of a move to Italy, according to one journalist.

It was announced last month on Milan’s official website that Kjaer underwent surgery on his left knee to reconstruct his anterior cruciate ligament and re-insert his medial collateral ligament. The operation was carried out at the La Madonnina Clinic and was perfectly successful, but he will be out for at least six months and as a result the management are looking for a centre-back as cover.

There have been the same names repeated like Sven Botman of Lille and Abdou Diallo of PSG, but now a new one has emerged. According to what is being reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan made contract 15 days ago with the agents of Tanganga over a loan.

However, Spurs made it clear they will only sell the player outright for €25m, while the possibility of new contacts cannot be excluded. Tanganga is 22 and has made 9 league appearances this season.
