AC Milan are still observing the situation of winger Federico Bernardeschi who could leave Juventus on a free transfer, a report claims.
His contract with Juve is expiring in June and he has been linked with the Rossoneri in the last few transfer windows. Now, he must decide whether to stay with the Bianconeri or try a different experience with a new team.
According to PianetaMilan, Milan are evaluating the idea of making a move for the 28-year-old and while it is not particularly concrete at the moment, it could heat up in the coming weeks because there have already been contacts between the parties.
The Rossoneri were keen on Bernardeschi when he was at Fiorentina but he ended up moving to Juve for €40m. Juve have offered a contract with a pay cut to around €2.5-3m net per season, and that is a figure which also fits in the parameters that Milan have imposed.
From a technical point of view Bernardeschi could play as a right winger in a 4-2-3-1 if either of Junior Messias or Alexis Saelemaekers are not around next season, and he would count towards the four players that came through an Italian academy as required by UEFA and Serie A squad lists.
