We are approaching the point in the season when clubs have to make decision on their loan players, and AC Milan are waiting for news.
According to what is being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are hoping to cash in on some players like Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez in order to bring in north of €100m to boost the summer transfer budget.
What could add further funds is the sale of players that are on loan with an option to buy, but it is difficult to predict what the other teams will do at present. Juventus seem set to buy Pierre Kalulu and Ismael Bennacer should join Marseille permanently, which would bring in €26m.
The other situations are more fluid, though in the event of a return to Milanello it is still difficult to imagine Noah Okafor (at Napoli, €23m option), Yacine Adli (at Fiorentina, €10m option), Tommaso Pobega (at Bologna, €12m option) and Lorenzo Colombo (at Empoli, €7m option) staying.
Alexis Saelemaekers deserves a separate discussion, as he has a lot of market potential (at least €20m). Roma want to keep him but the €15m valuation at the time they signed him on loan has increased.
If the Giallorossi do not convince the Rossoneri management with a Tammy Abraham swap or by putting Lorenzo Pellegrini on the table, there are at least a couple of foreign clubs interested in the Belgian.
I would take Salads back. There will always be a place for a hard-working non-flashy winger like him here at Milan.

Tomori —- same as RLC, but his sale for 25 or around 25 would mean capital gain also.
Chukwueze—–> better to sell or loan him out and keep Saelemaekers.
Emerson Royal ——> best option to be sold.
Now with some of revenue from possible sale of Colombo Adli Pobega and maybe Okafor – Milan is on good way to have sheet on balance.
Now it means you might have small space for some new arrivals but you removed a lot of junk.

I will be sell it all of this players to have sheet on balance. I will be level up our young stars from primavera / Milan futuro to collaborate with the rest Milan first team. Low and slim budget salary but Milan should more patient and take some time to see the results.
If Milan doesnt make it to any European Tournaments next season, our star players will not have patience if the 2025/2026 season (of just playing scudetto and copa) we fail to reach at least top 4 for the 2027/2028 season, Pulisic, Reijnders, Leao, and everyone else will leave.
If we truly are not playing in Europe next season, we need to try to win the scudetto, similar like Napoli this year.
We cant afford to experiment next season, we need to get results.
Keeping Salad would mean mid-table aspirations as he is an average defensive winger at best.
