AC Milan have set their sights on Midtjylland’s Raphael Onyedika for the midfield and after their first offer was rejected, they are now preparing a new one. This was reported by the Danish newspaper B.T. Sport today.
Onyedika, aged 21, has ended up on the radar of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara this summer. The Nigerian international has impressed with Midtjylland and is now one of their stars, as reflected in the price tag.
According to the Danish newspaper B.T. Sport, Milan have had an offer of €4m rejected for the midfielder as Midtjylland are asking for at least €8m. There seems to be room for improvement and Milan are ‘expected’ to make a new offer soon.
Whether the new offer will lead to an agreement, however, is another question. Onyedika is not the only name on Milan’s wish list and it’s possible that they could turn elsewhere in case the second offer is rejected as well.
