ML: Milan eyeing young Ligue 1 midfielder as potential replacement for Kessie

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have a possible target in mind in the event that they have to replace Franck Kessie at the end of the season, a report claims.

According to MilanLive, the Milan management offered a contract worth €5m net per season to Kessie in a five-year deal that would rise to €6.5m per year by the end of the deal. However there is interest from the Premier League, LaLiga and PSG which has caused his agent George Atangana to bide his time.

If Maldini and Massara realise that it is no longer possible to keep Kessie, they could go to the assault of a new midfielder and the report mentions that one possible target is Boubacar Kamara, who has been in Milan’s sights for some time.

He has a contract expiring in June 2022 and could therefore leave for a low price in January or on a free transfer next summer and while Marseille still hope to be able to renew him, the 21-year-old might want to try a new adventure.

  1. At this point I don’t care, the contract offer should be withdrawn and Kessie sold come January the soap opera isn’t worth it plus the guy isn’t of any help right now.

  2. Sign Kamara! This kid is a future star like Tonali. Kessie won’t resign. Same situation as Donnaruma he just wants to get paid and will go to whatever team pays him the most…sign Kamara in January and sell Kessie for whatever we can get and if it’s peanuts just keep him till end of season and hope he helps us win Scudetto and we move on with Kamara and Tonali as our future double pivot w Bennacer and Bakayoko rounding out the group. Kamara is a future star pls don’t let him get away. Sign Faivre in January too and we are all set
