AC Milan have once again been linked with a move for RC Lens striker Lois Openda ahead of next summer as the search for the centre-forward of the future continues.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) report that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are in the market for a young striker to lead the line in the future and among the many profiles they are following is Openda.
He has seven goals for RC Lens in Ligue 1 this season and is now a part of the Belgian national team, having made his first World Cup appearance in the group stages.
His valuation is around €20m and there is another interesting footnote: Openda’s first goal for Lens actually came against Inter, one that dates back to last July 23 in a friendly when he won the match against Simone Inzaghi’s team with a nice volley from his right foot that nestled inside the far post in the 90th minute.
