Disasi Pavlovic

Tuttosport: Milan eyeing out-of-favour Chelsea defender in case of Pavlovic sale

With Strahinja Pavlovic’s departure a possibility, AC Milan would be left short without a replacement of some kind, and once again, the Rossoneri are looking to London.

Milan cannot afford to recreate the failures of last season: the lack of defensive coverage, and with the team arguably short in the area currently, the Rossoneri cannot take risks. For this reason, if Pavlovic departed, another body would be needed.

Tuttosport (via Milan News) reports that the player currently taking the Diavolo’s interest is Axel Disasi. The Frenchman is out of favour in Enzo Maresca’s squad currently, and there is a chance that he could depart this mercato.

His departure would be a ‘market opportunity that Milan could not pass up’ as the report suggests, and given Geoffrey Moncada’s infatuation with the French market, it is a name that he will be well aware of.

Disasi joined Chelsea in the summer before last for €30 million, so his value will probably be nowhere near the level that it once may have been. For this reason, Pavlovic’s sale, which would be around €15m according to a report this morning, could fund the move.

However, the Serbian is not guaranteed to leave, so the next few days will be time for assessing the situation.

  1. He played well against Girona why you wanna sell him?
And with a player that is out of favour? And Injury prone why it’s very stupid and incompetent from this management. And at last why again from Chelsea? They should change the name from this team and make it Chelsea Rejects Feeder Club not even football team anymore wtf

    1. “He played well against Girona why you wanna sell him?”
      Easy.
This management understood that without good reinforcement this winter, there will be no UCL next season, which will be catastrophic to us, but also to them since Cardinale will probably sack them.
The problem is, in order to acquire players, you need to sell some first, otherwise from where will you get the funds to purchase those new players ?
They wanted to loan Okafor for few money but hey failed the medical test and the deal was dropped.
They tried to sell Tomori but he and Conceição said no.
They wanted/tried to sell Emerson but he’s out for a while so not sale.
They can’t sell Chukwueze and Loftus-Cheek since both are currently injured. Although they might try.
And they can’t sell Calabria, Gabbia, Terracciano,…since we don’t have any remaining Italian.
Which leaves us with… you guessed it: Pavlović and perhaps Jović.
Also I do agree that it doesn’t make sense to sell a promising albeit very raw and green defender to acquire yet another prospect. It would make more sense (although I still won’t agree) if we were to target a midfielder, since we’re in dire need of a midfielder.
But again Moncada and Ibrahimovic are displaying their incompetence for the world to see.

      1. I don’t see your opinion just bunch of nonsense like a 5 yr old you are.these are good players and the preferred pos they should look into instead of bringing Walker

  3. They say they don’t need to sell. Now they’re desperate to sell a player just after 6 months in order to raise cash for potential reinforcements. This is beyond ridiculous and embarrassing

  4. Lord Nelson out
    Lord Beaverbrook out
    Sir Winston Churchill out
    Sir Anthony Eden out

  5. What would be the point of this honestly? To show you made a sale so you can justify bringing someone in while loaning this reject? Selling pavlovic will be a huge regret, he will come good.

    1. I honestly preffered Bungiorno over Pavlovic. But Pavlovic is young with huge potential. It will be like letting CDK, Paqueta again. He is nothing worse than our other CBs but has higher celling actually so football wise this makes no sense. I think our CB department should be left as it is.

  6. I still if we actually get rid of one our most high potential players for ANOTHER Chelsea failure, I’m gonna break something. Get these useless clowns put of the board room. Stop making the club weaker
