As the summer mercato draws to a close, AC Milan have to sign a striker to get close to a perfect transfer window.
There are several names who have been linked to Milan this summer, but only two have held any real weight in the picture: Dusan Vlahovic, the long-term favourite, and then the recent growth of Rasmus Hojlund.

Both offer something different, and both elements are liked by Milan. The former is proven in Serie A, but is much more expensive, whilst Hojlund offers more of an unknown, with more potential to grow in the future.
Only two remain
Both are a risk, and Daniele Longo reports this afternoon that it is between those two for the signature. In fact, he states that they are the ‘only’ options currently being considered by the Rossoneri.

For what it is worth, he also references Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson, but it is a difficult move, and he is probably not going to be considered in the final weeks of the mercato, likely due to the price required for the move.
Beneath the tweet, the reporter also replies to a question about who is more likely, to which he stated it would be Hojlund ‘very much’ so.

“Only two remain”, meanwhile there is another article of how advanced and close we are to Boniface…
So many conflicting reports, unless its boniface AND one of those 2
I don’t think Valhovic is worth the money that would be needed to get him. I don’t think he has shown himself to be a top level striker which is what his pay and tranfer fee suggest. For example, Gyokeres salary is about the same as Valhovic. He scored 29 and 39 goals the last two seasons. I know it was in Portugal, but my point is take a look at cost to goal ratio and Valhovic I don’t believe warrants his huge salary demands.
Didn’t worth that salary cap
