It was a tough evening for AC Milan at Ennio Tardini last night as Parma prevailed by two goals to one. Truth be told, they could have won by a lot more and with just one point in two games, the Rossoneri fans are pushing for a formation change.
It has been a rough start to the season for Milan, their worst since the 2011-12 season, and a big response is needed against Lazio next weekend. However, there is so much to work on that there is little hope among the Rossoneri fans.
One thing Paulo Fonseca could do, however, is to switch from the 4-2-3-1 formation. During our watchalong for the game, several fans in the comments pointed out that 4-3-3 should be the way forward. Our host Ahmed Bdair agreed with this idea.
“Play 4-3-3 with Bennacer, Reijnders and Fofana? Absolutely, if there is one positive thing about this team it’s that, playing Bennacer, Reijnders and Fofana together in a midfield three. How long it will take for Fonseca to realise that, we’ll see,” he replied.
As said, the game against Lazio is now a must-win for the Rossoneri as they wouldn’t want to head into the international break with zero wins.

This won’t make a difference if you keep having everyone ahead of the ball. We don’t need to attack with 8 players. If your front 3 is fluid, your CAM helps. You create a defensive back up with your 2 DMs.
That is the bottom line, not whether the team will play in 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. Milan cannot attack with 8 players and leave the stoppers at their mercy. If only journalists would learn something. Neither Fofan nor Isma nor any other player will save us if he is behind the ball.
Putting Fofana and Bennacer in the middle would bring defence and attack balance, if i were Fonseca, i would line up

The midfielders we have a better suited for a 433. I don’t get why Pioli and now Fonseca is still persisting with a 4231. We don’t have a trequartista aka attacking midfielder and RLC and Musah are very bad in a double pivot.
Milan also need to sign Rabiot and Cheisa especially if Cheisa hasn’t signed with Barcelona yet.
433 or just sack Fonseca and hire Sarri.

Once U have rlc playing cam role it’s going to be disastrous.we need an actual cam or just change d formation. we were unable to breakdown d Parma defense cos our middle was nothing.all dangers came from the wings and it’s something they were already expecting.no contribution from rlc the entire match.he is not a cam.he got no vision.he is just a very good ball carrier who carries d ball too much
You can go with any formation you want and we will still fail. THE TACTICS ARE WRONG !!! We do not have the correct players to ” PRESS HIGH ” we will fail. ( laziness is present in several players and you need complete TEAMWORK to succeed)
