AC Milan will again be challenged by Napoli in the mercato in the next few months, this time for a wonderkid attacking midfielder.

With Ruben Amorim’s system, having two fantastic #10 options behind Goncalo Ramos will be key. Already, he has Christian Pulisic and Christopher Nkunku, but others will be needed for the current moment and future.

So, the name of Can Uzun could rise again, alongside Konstantin Karestas. Both are names for the future, with exceptional ability already.

Milan battle Napoli

As is becoming a theme this summer, MilanNews compiles reports from Turkey suggesting that the Rossoneri are in a battle against former manager Massimiliano Allegri this summer. Indeed, the Italian has tried to fight for Mario Gila, and now the battle is shifting.

Now, the focus is on Uzun, who was one of the emerging options considered by the Diavolo in recent months. The star could leave Eintracht Frankfurt this summer and the German club are seeking €45 million if he is to depart.

It is a significant sum, certainly, but RedBird have money to invest this summer, as proven by the signings already. However, no deal is currently on the cards for either club, it is just monitoring for both parties.

  1. How about a CdK in Atalanta? He would be perfect behind Ramos.
45 mio for a talent sounds like too much.

    1. Correct… Additional such as CDK and Daniel Malda Will be perfect fit for that position. But if we must anticipate if we in positive transition we need quick SS like Pulisic/ Nkunku. Or we can put Leao on that position.

    2. He was run out of the club by fickle fans, why would he return? If we had kept CDK and Brahim, this system might actually work, for a while.

    1. Daniel Maldini is only in Serie A player because of his sir name. The guy is slow can’t play progressive passes, doesn’t read defenders well and that’s just what I’ve noticed in the limited showings since he left Milan

  2. So actually expectation from amorim getting higher if the mercato successfully… Ramos, gila and others. Amorim must do everything well, if doesn’t work it would be Allegri 2.0

  3. Just buy casadei from torino. He is good for depth squad (still 23 years with low salary 1,5m euro nett / years). Casadei, Comotto, Pulisic, Nkunku will fight for 2 spot behind striker. Casadei will cost around 15-20m euro and last season have 6 goal with torino. It is better than this turk wonderkid that will cost 40-50m euro and still raw
