AC Milan will enter the final week of the pre-season tomorrow and they have four friendlies planned, making for a packed schedule. It will be an opportunity for Stefano Pioli to make the last tactical adjustments.
The Rossoneri are back in training after enjoying three days off, following their return to Italy after the USA pre-season tour. Next week, they will face a total of four teams, allowing a majority of the players to get a chance.
On Tuesday evening, Milan will face Monza at 21:00 CEST in the first edition of Trofeo Silvio Berlusconi and a strong XI is expected for that one. The day after, on Wednesday, they will take on Trento at 18:00 CEST at Milanello. Those who won’t play much in the first game will play from start in the second, in other words.
Pioli’s men will then have a few days of training before taking on the Tunisian side ES Sahel on Saturday at Milanello, with kick-off at 18:00. On Sunday, the Rossoneri will face Novara at 11:00 in the final friendly of the 2023-24 pre-season.
Milan will then enter the week in which they will prepare for the game against Bologna, which won’t be played at the weekend but rather on the following Monday.
All this team needs is Esteve (CB), Calafiori (LB), a midfielder like Dominguez who’s a 6 and Pioli has all the tools he needs at his disposal
Still need a CF in my opinion but yes you are right. We definitely need a
CB – Esteve,
LB – Mazzocchi who plays both RB & LB at 28yrs old (we need an experienced backup since Milan will promote Bartesaghi next season when he turns 18.
DM: Koppminers from Atalanta
CF – Balogun, Sesko or Beto
Even with krunic we need Dominguez.
