Longo: Milan’s first package offer to Brighton for Estupinan – the figures

This evening, AC Milan have sent their first bid to Brighton for Pervis Estupinan. Just now, the figures of said bid have been revealed.

Links to Estupinan have gotten very serious very quickly, with Milan looking to secure the player before they travel for the pre-season tour in Asia. Additionally, the fear of losing another target is probably having an effect.

So, after just a few reports linking the two, the Rossoneri sent a bid to Brighton and Hove Albion for the Ecuadorian full back.

Bargain business?

Matteo Moretto was the first to break the news, but there was no talk of figures in his initial report. However, Daniele Longo, the Calciomercato.com journalist, has stated that the initial bid sent was worth €14 million upfront.

This was not it though, as there are bonuses included in the deal. Unfortunately, the complete figure has not been revealed. Imaginably, the add-ons would not be worth much more than €5m considering the structure of the Ardon Jashari deal.

Considering €14m was included in the Tijjani Reijnders sale too, it is difficult to see much more than €5m being added onto the €14m offer to Brighton. Talks are still ongoing, so we will have to see what Brighton will request.

  1. Player’s market value is 30 million!

They should reject and make counter offer like 30 million for Leao.
    Disrespect should not be ignored

    1. Offering 30 million for Leao is not insulting at all.
Inter just offered 40 million for Lookman who over the last 2 years have the same goal production as Leao in 13 less games and around 1300 less minutes. 🤷‍♂️
      Lookman’s value is 60 m

  2. 17.7 is todays date. We don’t have complete midfield nor defense and the team is going to Australia on saturday. Bunch of cl*wns…

    1. For now , midfield is only full position where we have around 7 players… but in attack there is only Colombo who not stay here and in defence in left and right we have only Bartesaghi and Jimenez…. that’s the problem..

      1. It’s a pre season it’s good we don’t have player rn we can watch our youngsters and youth play we have also commoto in lb who has impressed allegri

  3. LMAO!!! Of course we are low balling the daylight out if them! Sweet Baby Jesus. Then we wonder why clubs get so frustrated with us and don’t discount just on principle.

This is why it makes no difference that Tare is here because the management, the financial limits and the negotiation tactics all remain the same.

  4. If truly we really want challenge for the league
Our squad should have been almost complete by now …

  5. They have no shame. They offered €14 million for one of the best full backs in the best league in Europe, but offer €38 million for Jashiri?!?!? How do they come up with these valuations, do they have a random number generator? Bid €20 million and go from there.

    1. Because one of them has potential and several other clubs have offered similar amounts and the other one is an overstocked position from Brighton for a player with a poor injury record?

Brighton spent 20M on a left back to replace this guy, why should he be worth more?

    2. Best fullback? That’s a huge stretch of the imagination. This guy is injured for long stretches. Look at his injury record the last two years.

      We need to look elsewhere.

  6. Guys don’t believe what media write about prices , that’s not our point to discuss
Important is that they are targeting good players. Let’s hope they will sign

  7. 14m for EPL player ? Milan should be joke. It’s like offering players from championship / league one club. 😂😂
