GdS: Milan have a five-man wish list for the attack worth a combined €120-130m

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have five targets in mind to improve the attacking department and could make big investments in the summer, especially if the Scudetto arrived.

La Gazzetta dello Sport confirm that Milan are on the lookout for the centre-forward of the future and Gianluca Scamacca is one of the names being considered. Sassuolo recently renewed him until 2025 and his 13 goals in 30 games mean that he would cost at least €40m.

The second target is one for the right wing and like Scamacca he has shone for Sassuolo this season. Domenico Berardi has 14 goals and 14 assists in 28 games this season and 119 goals in 320 games overall, which means he costs around €30m even if he is 27 years old.

Then there is Divock Origi, a striker who faced the Rossoneri twice in the Champions League this season and scored the winner at San Siro. He has 5 goals in 14 appearances this season, would arrive on a free and has scored on the biggest stages.

Noa Lang is the next name mentioned, and he has 9 goals and 13 assists in 42 games for Club Brugge this season, with 58 successful dribbles. He is 22 and costs around €20-25m, and he played at Ajax with another potential future Milan player in Sven Botman.

Finally we come to Charles De Ketelaere, who has 18 goals and 9 assists in 43 games for Club Brugge. He is 21 years old and is considered very versatile, and with a contract until 2024 his asking price is €30-35m.

  1. Would be so sweet to get Origi up front, CDK and Adli for AMC, and Berardi on the right. I hope that we just end up renewing Romagnoli and skip Botman and focus on the midfield and attack. We have been defensively very solid this season and no reason to splash the cash there since we could just renew Romagnoli.

      1. Romagnoli is not as bad as people want him to be. Before his Injury, he was top5 defender in Serie A. Botman isn’t any better than him anyway.

  2. Hate to break it but scudetto is long gone….We had a great chance having Inter an -6 but we blew it…Mistakes after mistakes and a continuous suicidal Milan….

  3. Yes, we need them all but not just to add them to the wish list but to purchase them outright. Hopefully, if Milan wins the scudetto to increase our capital which will enable us to move freely on the market in the summer.
    Milan with love… Forza Milan

    1. Ultimately, winning or coming fourth isn’t a huge financial difference – qualification for the Champions League and progression from the group stage is what will unlock bigger spending power. Unfortunately, it’s a protectionist competition so it will take several years of consistent qualification to be able to get a decent seeding and not be drawn against several big teams in the group.

  4. Origi will be such a flop,it doesnt go in my mind why everyone is amazed by this guy ,last 2 season together he collected only 15 matches mostly from bench, scored 5 goals,he plays average 10 matches per season,in low bundesliga where every serious attacker scores 20+ goals per season,he scored 6 , even andre silva scored 30 goals, and they say he is better option than belotti…come on guys has been more days in ambulance than he was on training pitch, his best season was in poor french league which was even more poor back in the days when he played for lille scorin 8 goals in 35 matches….what a joke, the only condition he meets to join us is that he played for lille and soon we can name us ac lillan

  5. I’m honestly tired of all these rumors. First of all, Milan should focus on what it is remaining to play, and then they can look at what players are really necessary. Thinking well, I think Botman is not that necessary. We have Kalulu and Kjær for next season. They should get a cheaper defender instead of Botman, to have him as backup for Kalulu. They should invest the money on other areas. In my opinion, I’ll prefer to wait until the end of the season next month and then look at the biggest problems. But I think the defensive wise, Milan is doing great. The problem is the poor attack of the wingers and a better forward. Instead of buying Origi, they should use Botman money to buy a quality forward.

  6. Origi, Charles,Asensio ,noa lang Will be strenghten our atack next season. We don’t need Renato since we have adili and pobega next season as double pivot
