Mediaset: Milan’s current thinking regarding Florenzi, Bakayoko, Messias and Brahim Diaz loans

By Oliver Fisher -

The next few months will be intense for Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara as they will have to make decisions on several loan players.

According to what Claudio Raimondi reported for SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Tiemoue Bakayoko – who is on loan from Chelsea until summer 2023 – could return to London in July given his disappointing year so far, therefore implying his loan would be terminated a year only.

Brahim Diaz on the other hand is a player that the club intend to keep betting on, so he could be purchased in the coming summer window instead of 2023 as the agreement struck with Real Madrid currently states.

Alessandro Florenzi’s impact has also been positive, but Pierre Kalulu’s growth and the fact that he is over 30 does not play in his favour so a decision has not yet been made on him, with his buy-out being around €4-5m.

Junior Messias is another player whose future is unclear, but he has a few months to convince the Rossoneri management to pay the €5.5m needed to sign him permanently from Crotone, though again age is an issue as he will turn 31 this year.
