AC Milan’s preseason preparations begin today at Milanello and the first player to arrive was Alessandro Florenzi, according to a report.
Today is ‘Raduno’, otherwise known as the day when the vast majority of the Milan squad will reconvene back at the training centre to look ahead to 2023-24 and begin their conditioning after summer vacations.
We have published an article outlining the schedule for the day, which includes a press conference from Stefano Pioli before the first team squad have their first training session of the campaign.
According to MilanPress, the first player to arrive at the sports centre in Carnago was Florenzi, who rocked up shortly after 10:30 CEST in the morning.
Given training does not begin for another six and a half hours (as of the time of arrival), it is perhaps a sign that the former Roma man wants to put a difficult season behind him after his tendon issue which kept him out for a large stretch of games.
He returned in March of this year but had only found four appearances also due to a further muscle problem. Around 20 minutes later, captain Davide Calabria arrived.

Best thing Florenzi can do for Milan is accepting a transfer out of Milan.
He is a surgery waiting to happen.
He had 2 surgeries in his 1st season, one surgery last season, can’t wait to see what else he will get operated on this season.

Players can spend the entire day at Milanello, a bunch of facilities are there. You shouldn’t connect your personal work experience with players.
Good luck Florenzi, hope u can get some good fitness and help the team this year, good attitude to come in early and try hard,don’t listen to the bitter comments on here, we need good right back and left back cover so rather than going searching for yet another transfer we should use what we have, Bozzolan from primavera is also a good option to step up, hopefully Pioli can see this as well

Florenzi just takes 6h to warm up before he can safely start running.
I still dont understand why previous management activate buy option junior & florenzi , both are old & injury prone . Now AC Milan must waiting till florenzi contract expire ( 3m euro nett/years) to release him
At least Messias produces but again….still old. Florenzi is just warming the treatment table. Never understood that too. But I guess….. homegrown quota 🤷♂️
