CM: Milan make formal approach to Juventus over Vlahovic move despite blockade

Despite a blockade being in place, AC Milan have begun to officially move for Dusan Vlahovic this morning.

There have been persistent rumours about Vlahovic’s future ahead of the summer mercato, and Milan have been present pretty much every step of the way. Of course, the reason is easy: Massimiliano Allegri.

The Italian seeks a top striker, and there is no one else that ranks above the Serbian. In fact, the two have already spoke on the phone, before any official meetings took place, according to recent reports.

Informalities no more

Recently, the two have discussed the idea informally, per a report from Calciomercato.com. However, today, that has now changed with the Rossoneri beginning official contacts with the Bianconeri to understand their intentions.

Many strikers have been linked in the past few days, but the road to Vlahovic is preferred substantially to others. Especially given there is alreay a relationship between the two.

Nevertheless, a deal will not be straightforward. As the report continues, the club will face at least two obstacles. The first is already known: the finances. Today, though, it seems a new one has emerged with the report stating that Igor Tudor wants to keep the striker whilst extending his deal.
