Instead, it was a case of going again and refining what they wanted and so far, they have done that. The pressure is a little lower and there is more room for error. In fact, the team are performing much better with fewer suggestions of worries.
Staying in Serie D?
It is so much the case that the team may remain in Serie D, even if they are eligible for promotion to Serie C. As Gazzetta dello Sport reports, via MilanPress, Massimo Oddo’s team have had a mixed season, but the Rossoneri are satisfied.
Young players are playing consistently and taking the step up in their stride. So, despite being first place in the repechage rankings, they may not make an application for promotion.
The costs would be high and the squad may need reconfiguring, neither of which is ideal. Then, the step up may be too much too soon for some players. In other words, they may remain in Serie D for their own sake.
