This season, the Milan Futuro have been invited to join a multi-nation tournament set up by the English FA, which could prove to be a major opportunity.
Despite their relegation to Serie D and failure to get out of the division last season, it is clear that Milan are not giving up on the Futuro project. Hiring Sergio Navarro is a big move and it certainly can take them forward.

Milan part of U21 Competition
As posted by @MilanMatters on X, the Futuro squad will take part in the Premier League International Cup. Consisting of some of Europe’s biggest and best academies, this will be a great challenge for the youngsters within the Futuro set-up.
Organised by the English FA for players under the age of 21 – as seen by the fact that clubs can only field four players over the age of 21 – it is a chance for English clubs to test themselves in Europe.
So, 16 sides from England will face 16 sides from Europe, with four groups of eight and the Diavolo are drawn in Group B, consisting of: Manchester City, Tottenham, Everton, Stoke, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Nordsjælland and Dinamo Zagreb.
All games will be played in England and the youngsters will kick off against Everton on September 2.
