CM: Double favour involving Frosinone centre-back could give Milan advantage in Bremer race

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan may gain an advantage in the race to sign Bremer, but not necessarily because of the operation involving Pietro Pellegri, according to a report.

Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews) reported last night that Milan are close to buying Pellegri from Monaco for a fee of €4m, getting a discount on the previously agreed €6m, and he will then be sent out on a six-month loan to Torino.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, Torino are pushing on the accelerator to try and sign Federico Gatti, a 23-year-old defender who has been fantastic this season for Frosinone as they continue to hang around the promotion race in Serie B.

The eventual arrival of Gatti could bring Bremer closer to the Diavolo, because Sky (via MilanNews) reported that Milan are following him too. By letting him go to Torino – in addition to the Pellegri favour – the Rossoneri could certainly gain a preferential lane in their pursuit of Bremer.
