AC Milan are at risk of missing out on Leon Goretzka, with Atletico Madrid pushing to sign him immediately.
Earlier in the week, a report emerged claiming that Milan had held further talks with the agent of Goretzka, who is out of contract in the summer and would therefore be available on a free transfer. The German was believed to be pleased by the advances, but now there has been a twist.

Atletico accelerate
According to journalist Matteo Moretto and the Spanish source Marca (via AllFootball), Atlético Madrid have submitted an official offer to Bayern Munich for the signing of Goretzka in January, and Bayern will decide the player’s future within the coming hours.
Goretzka has previously expressed a desire to play out the rest of his contract, which expires on June 30. Bayern meanwhile had no plans to sell in the winter, but the visit from Atlético’s sporting director Mateu Alemany ‘ultimately changed the player’s mind’.

With Goretzka seemingly keen on the move, reaching an agreement with Bayern not expected to be an issue because they want to lower their wage bill. Atlético’s are willing to pay his €8.5m salary for the remainder of the season.
The Bavarian side wanted €10m for Goretzka to sell now, but a figure of €2-3m is now expected to be enough. Los Rojiblancos have tabled an official bid for the midfielder, and Bayern are set to decide on his future in the next few hours.

our midfield needs a young vice-regista: Bernabe, Vermeeren, Altimira, Casado, Perrone, Samardzic would all fit the characteristic.
Modric has no sub, Jashari is better suited for Rabiot role.
we have Ricci, Fofana now and Bondo in the summer for box-to-box…
are we RuZZians for saying strength over mind? and yes they actually have a saying like that… we need a regista!
I’ve been calling us for years to get Bernabe so I definitely would support that idea and I believe he is ready to take the next leap in his career and he should be within our means also considering that his contract is about to expire in 2027. Quite frankly I’m surprised that no big clubs hasn’t bought him yet.
😀 No we are definitely not Russians as we are their and those alikes worst nightmare as we wont bow down or comply to dictators wills even if it were to mean our own demise.
Goretzka wouldn’t be a bad move though as he would bring quality and vast experience at the highest stage of the sport.
yeah but wrong profile is all I’m saying…
Bondo, Fofana, Ricci are enough; Ricci is already becoming a starter after a slow start. the guy never gives up and always runs to support the team like Sandro used to do in the good old days, Fofana although not starter material he will be vital as a depth player and his intercepts and steals are always useful when you need to keep the score. while Bondo has be vital for Cremonese this season.
About RuZZians it was a joke obviously, god forbid we are ever close to those orcs
