The headlines are written about Adrien Rabiot’s potential absence in the derby game between AC Milan and Inter. However, he is not the only one.
There is the possibility that Milan will lineup for the derby without Rabiot in the midfield, and with Massimiliano Allegri willing to risk it, it certainly opens up a question about how the Frenchman will approach this game.

However, others are at risk for the derby.
Players at risk for the derby
MilanNews write that the other French midfielder in Allegri’s mainstay group, Youssouf Fofana, will also miss the derby with another yellow card. While he may not be the preferred option at the moment, it may be due to precautionary measures around his situation.
Nevertheless, it would certainly be better to go into the game having as many midfield options as possible.

However, the issues could be more interesting on the right-hand side.
Allegri risks going into the derby with neither of his wing-back options, depending on how the game goes against Cremonese this weekend. Both Zachary Athekame and Alexis Saelemaekers are one card away from a suspension, and you’d imagine at least one gets through without any worries.
However, the risk is still there, and it is one to watch.

I know people love Salemaekers but he needs to reel it in a bit. He also needs to learn how to play with others. He seems to always be focused on him making the play rather then sometimes giving the ball to another player in a better position.
he needs to improved in that area indeed. It took a while but people love the saladman because of how much he grew. He always had the individual attributes, fast, hard worker, decent passing, good crossing, good dribbler and a rocket of a shot. Problem was, he never put it together. Dribble pass 3 guys and then do a terrible pass. etc. He’s getting closer to putting it together. Now he has to work in putting it FOR the team.
With respect the coming derby is just a waste of time for milan for scudetto purposes. With their many draws with the lesser teams and their defeat last sunday, inter will SURELY win the league and they fully deserve it no doubt.
The Scudetto may be off the table, but Milan stills has work to do to qualify for the CL so every point is vital until qualification is achieved.
