Milan have nine double-figure goal contributors in their squad – from Ibra to Messias

By Isak Möller -

As the transfer window has closed for this time, it’s worth taking a look at AC Milan’s squad and above all the attacking department. The Rossoneri didn’t exactly need any big improvements at the back, hence the focus.

If you have been following the Rossoneri for the last few years, we can all remember when they struggled to have a decent amount of players on 10+ goal contributions. That is, goals and assisted registered across all competitions.

Now, of course, the story is quite different as Milan don’t exactly lack prolific players. If we take a look at the numbers from last season, also including the new arrivals, Stefano Pioli has nine double-figure players to rely on.

The list: Kessie (14 goals + 6 assists), Ibra (17+3), Rebic (11+9), Hernandez (8+8), Messias (9+5), Leao (7+6), Giroud (11), Diaz (7+4) and Saelemaekers (3+7).

We can only hope that these players will perform well this season as well even if, of course, the numbers could vary. For example, it seems likely that Leao could get more points than Rebic this season, although the Croatian will probably do well also.
