It seemed that Luka Modric was done with AC Milan after they failed to qualify for the Champions League. However, there’s still a chance.
Modric’s season was fantastic with Milan and unfortunately, looking back on it has been painful recently, because it felt like it was done. After all, he wanted to compete at the highest level and the Rossoneri will not be there next season.

However, a decision has not been made yet. So, whilst this is still the case, fans will continue to hold out hope about his future at San Siro.
Modric could continue at Milan
Perhaps the biggest reason to hope has emerged this morning, too. According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (seen below), the Croatian may not be done with the Diavolo, even if it seemed like he would be.
He has been offered a role within Real Madrid – which was expected even before the season ended – but he has not accepted it yet. Indeed, he wants to see the future of the Milan project and meet with the new manager and technical director to understand their ambitions.
After all, he wants to see the club succeed and if he can help them with that, it would be fulfilling a dream. There is a feeling of unfinished business and with his family settled, he may not be done in Milano just yet…

Modric maybe want UCL but he want serie A more cz he never got it esp w/ club he love even b4 Madrid.

Can’t fault him for his noble intentions (get the club back on track). More than we can say for our so called core players shopping around looking for a way out. Give me 10 or so 30yr olds who will run their socks off for 90mins for the team than a bunch of 26yr old prima donnas who bolt at the first sign of trouble…
