AS: Milan to meet Real Madrid over three deals including Eden Hazard

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan intend to discuss a couple of possible market opportunities when they meet Real Madrid at the end of the season, a report claims.

According to AS (via PianetaMilan) there will be a meeting between Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara and their counterparts at Real Madrid which will serve to discuss the future of Brahim Díaz including a possible permanent deal, given he is currently on loan with Milan until June 2023.

The Rossoneri would like to obtain a discount on the €22m agreed in the summer of 2021 for the permanent signing of the playmaker, but Los Blancos – who have a buy-back on Brahim for €25m – do not seem inclined to grant a discount to Milan.

However, Maldini will take advantage of the summit with Madrid to ask for information on Eden Hazard who are no longer part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans. The Belgian forward when at Chelsea was one of the strongest players in Europe and a change of scenery might do him good.

There will also be questions about Luka Jovic too who made a €60m move to the Spanish capital after two exceptional seasons with Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga but has struggled since his move.

  1. Jovic is shit. He is used to playing in a 2 CF system exactly why he failed at RM.

Hazard too injury prone. Even if Madrid just terminate his deal or sell him for 10M he will demand high salary.
Let’s just get Dybala. younger. free. Serie A proven.

  3. Why even give the suggestion that we might aquirre hazard when it seems to be well beyond a far fetched idea. He was earning 20 mil gbp a year in 2021 according to the info i could find which roughly equates to 23 mil euros a year. Does this even sound remotely plausible ?
Even if his contract is torn in two pieces i highly doubt that he would willing accept even 10 mil euros a year.

      1. This suggestion is nothing but mere speculations and the wages he currently earns clearly indicates that this isnt feasible.
Even if milan has asked for information on the player it seems highly unlikely he would accept dropping to something in the vicinity of a third of the 23 mil euros salary he currently eans or that we would actually exceed such an ammount.

In my view this article really should question the feasibility of such a move as there isnt one single indication that its about to happen or that it would be within our means to make such a move for a 31 year old player and yes a left winger on top of that as well.

  4. Hazard salary 23m euro / season even if we loan him and pay only half it Will still cost more than 11m euro nett. There is no way Elliot want to pay much for injury prone player, Jovic are downgrade now, even origi perform better than Jovic

  5. Omg Hazard and Jovic would be huge downgrades. There is no way those names are being discussed. Milan has built something special with its combination of talent, leadership, affordability and HEART. Please don’t bring in big name players that just want big paychecks. We can find the wins without them. That includes dybala!

I would rather see Milan pay the $ and commit to Brahim rather than bring in some fake celebrity big paycheck player.
