AC Milan are interested in signing full-back Aaron Hickey from Bologna and have intensified their pursuit in view of the summer, a report claims.
According to SunSport, the Rossoneri have been regularly monitoring the 19-year-old since his arrival in Italy and have sent scouts to matches specifically to watch him. Paolo Maldini wants another left-back to be able to rotate with Theo Hernandez next season, as Fode Ballo-Toure is not convincing.
Hickey is in his second season in Serie A since leaving Hearts and he has scored 4 goals this season. He is on the international radar too now as he made his debut last night for Scotland as Steve Clarke fielded him in the 1-1 draw with Poland.
He can play either on the left and right side of defence and as a wing-back if needed too, but with rumours of competition from other sides based in the UK, Maldini might have to act fast.
