AC Milan are hoping to get a deal for Victor Boniface wrapped up quickly, and it seems it could even be done tonight.
It has gone from interest to advanced talks very quickly for Milan. The Rossoneri had two strikers on their shortlist, but it seems like a third option is preferred, and it has come from nowhere. In fact, the links to Boniface seemed to be done.

However, this morning, it was suggested that a move could be done for the Nigerian striker, and this afternoon, a deal had nearly been agreed, according to reports. Proof of how quickly the mercato works.

That could be proven even further, yet. Daniele Longo writes on X that the current idea, or maybe better hope, is that the signing is completed tonight. Then, tomorrow, in an ideal world, he would travel to Italy.
It was reported that the dream was to get the signing done by the end of the week, and this could be a very real possibility at the current rate of things. Though it is unlikely that he would feature this weekend, imaginably.
Considering things are still difficult with Rasmus Hojlund and Dusan Vlahovic, it is a great-looking bit of business on paper.

Pulisic in midfield? Why? Where does Modric play? In 22 minutes against Bari the dude showed more technique than everyone else combined. Then RLC and Fofana will and should get minutes too. Allegri is going to have proper midfielders in his middle three. Lookman? Pulisic can play that role excellently. After Boniface our attack is complete. We do need another CB, and then IF there is another signing after that, it ought to be an experienced left wingback to alternate with Estupiñan. I don’t trust Bartesaghi. Then sell Adli and Bennacer (and Chukwueze if Allegri REALLY wants to commit to 3-5-2) and our 2025-26 transfer campaign is closed.
Modric won’t be long term… love the guy but him getting minutes isn’t as important as him leading the midfield off the pitch and elevating the class altogether.
Pulisic-RLC as box-crashers makes sense, and Puli’s ability to bring the ball forward is underrated. not only that but his creativity is only 2nd to Modric. Jashari and Ricci will take most minutes and Fofana can play both of their roles, same as the Croatian GOAT. (I question Musah and would prefer to use him with Atalanta and get Rabiot-Benny swap going.)
If we get Lookman, we not only replace Okafor but get way better player who can play wings and SS. So if we ever want to go back to 4 men defense we will have that flexibility right away. Conte started also with back 3 but changed to 4-3-3.
again, it’s just my opinion for more guarantees and insurances going forward. but Tare and Allegri are doing fantastic job, so whatever they plan on doing in the last 2 weeks, I’m confident that we all be pleased.

It’s smart to be loan + option. For many (obvious) reasons. As long as its that formula of transfer and no bizarre obligation , then congrats to Tare for a decent window. Lots of sales (still hoping for Bennacer /Adli out the door) and arguably a stronger 1st XI after all the incomings.
