After Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila, Ruben Amorim has now requested reinforcements in the attacking midfield positions.

Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) report this morning that the coach wants a player who is technically excellent and capable of making to most of one-on-one situations, and preferably young so they can develop further.

Milan are evaluating two talents above all who tick the boxes: Kerim Alajbegovic of Bayer Leverkusen and Konstantinos Karetsas of Genk. Can Uzun also remains in the background, but Eintracht Frankfurt are asking for a whopping €50m to sell him.

Milan weigh up trequartisti

Corriere dello Sport add Alajbegovic was primarily recommended by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was impressed by his performance at the World Cup with Bosnia. After his goal against Qatar, the Swede had some glowing comments to say about him, proclaiming that a new star has been born.

The young forward is coming off an excellent loan spell at Red Bull Salzburg in Austria. He is slightly more affordable than the other potential candidates, as he would cost around €25m despite the fact Leverkusen just used a buy-back for €8m.

Karetsas has a slightly higher price tag of at least €35m, but he appears to be Milan’s favourite because they consider him a future champion and are convinced it’s an investment worth making now to avoid losing the chance in the future.

Essentially, the Rossoneri believe they must either sign him now or probably never. Contacts with Genk are expected next week to assess the feasibility of this deal, particularly from a financial standpoint.

  1. Alajbegovic seems cheaper, easier and more versatile… Ibra also never talks too much on players in general so I would trust his gut as a Balkan

that doesn’t change the fact that he will be for depth like Nkunku. we need Puli’s partner or right side.

Kang-In Lee is Atletico bound, Brahim will be hard to get from Real with recent rumors of a renewal… not maybe players on the market that fit our parameters

    1. Dusan Tadic LOL Diaz, Zaniolo, Kerim, Karetsas, too good for just a backup AMRC, not good enough yet for a Milan’s star(ter). Maybe loan Bob for a year or two and avoid bigger expenses that way, could that be done, I wonder?

  2. madrid has got lots of forwards in there team, lets wait for right opportunity and take guler, brahim or rodrigo

    1. Thank u 🙌🙏 my friend
U have seen what I have seen
Either 2 of these players will leave Madrid
These are the deal milan should have wait for
Rodrigo is my choice any day any time
Endrick is also a player Milan should sit there site on

  3. We could’ve saved 30 mill by just having faith in our young Italian, Liberali, but no we give away for free and go for fancy foreign names as usual

  4. Karetsas > Alajbegovic.

If we sign the Konstantinos, I’d be happy. If we won’t sign the other, I would not care as much.

  5. I like them both equally . It’s very hard for me to choose between them. Karetsas plays in the right side most and Alajbegovic plays on left side most.
    Better take them both 😆
Karetsas has a more classical style like Maradona, Hagi .
Alajbegovic has a playing style more like Kvaratschelia

  6. Vasilije Kostov is better than both. Players shouldn’t be bought because of hype. They had Martin Baturina available for years but they missed out. Superior to all of the mentioned players in every single aspect.

  7. If the formation requires a trequart then get a trequart. Don’t end up like Giampaolo using wingers in that position and struggling until they fire you
Also don’t abandon your plans after one game lol

    1. “Also don’t abandon your plans after one game”. LOL, imagine Amorim loses the first game and reverts to 5-3-2 Allegri style. Hahaha. I mean, there is a greater than zero chance…

  8. Since everyone loves to play FM on here.. a bit of a pipe dream, but would love Dani Olmo as one of the 10’s. Using Leao as part of a swap deal, if Barca are interested in him…

  9. I would prefer Soule to either of them. He is proven in Serie A, Roma want to sell him and has the least risk of the three.
