AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has decided to continue playing for another season amid retirement speculation, a report claims.
A report from Daniele Longo at Calciomercato.com has said that the Swedish striker has made his decision not to hang up his boots just yet.
Given his injury-hit campaign with AC Milan in 2021/22, many had expected Ibrahimovic to call time on his playing career, especially as that would mean retiring after helping the Rossoneri win their first Scudetto since his first spell at the club.
As he has done throughout his career, the former Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain forward has defied the odds and decided to stay.
It is all subject to a medical assessment which will determine whether he needs to undergo a new operation on his knee.
If that goes to plan, he is ready to continue playing and helping the team both on and off the pitch.
