AC Milan had it laid bare to them how important Rafael Leao and Brahim Diaz can be to the team during the win over Napoli on Sunday night and both players would like to stay at the club, a report claims.
As has been reported by Corriere della Sera (via Milan News), both Leao and Diaz have got uncertain futures at Milan but between them they scored three of the four goals in the 4-0 win over Napoli.
Whilst it has been a tough season overall for Milan, Leao and Diaz have been very important. They have got 30 goals and assists between them across Serie A and the Champions League.
Leao is currently negotiating for a new contract and it is clear that he would like to remain at the club, he just wants to stay on the right terms.
Diaz’s situation is more complicated as his loan from Real Madrid is coming to an end and Milan will need to buy him if he is to stay.
