Tuttosport: Milan left impressed by €38m RB Salzburg duo after seeing them up close

The AC Milan management cast an admiring glance upon certain players who impressed for Red Bull Salzburg during the 4-0 win at San Siro, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport, the Rossoneri are already thinking about the next couple of transfer windows and they are keen on a couple of players that they saw first hand on Wednesday night.

At the top of the list is Noah Okafor, a 22-year-old forward who is one of the emerging strikers on the European scene and has characteristics similar to those of Rafael Leao. Therefore, in the event that the renewal of the Portuguese does not happen, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara could turn to the Swiss international.

Okafor has played 18 games and scored nine goals between the Champions League and the Austrian Bundesliga, but Premier League sides such as Liverpool and Arsenal are keen, and there is a current valuation of €18m.

Milan’s other transfer target is Luka Sucic, a versatile 20-year-old who is capable of playing in the role of regista, mezzala and as an attacking midfielder. He did not have a great match in Milan, because he was followed and man-marked by Sandro Tonali, but there is no doubting his talent.

His contract with Salzburg will expire in 2025 and he has a market value of €20m, while Milan have actually been linked before and we contacted his agency. Sucic and Okafor are very young and versatile, meaning they are perfect in theory for Pioli’s plans and the project.
